Prints composed of motif illustrations inspired by sea life in a kelp forest ecosystem

These motifs are hand-drawn or painted individually using Indian ink then scanned. The inspiration for the series came from my university research into sustainable textile alternatives made from alginate - a material derived from kelp. I wanted to express the harmonious beauty of the living organisms within the ecosystem.
